I need an eye cream with an SPF. Any recommendations?

I am vigilant about wearing sunscreen every day, so I need a cream that I can use on my eye area. I'm looking for something reasonably priced so I checked out my local drug store, but found nothing. i used to use small tubes of expensive eye creams. then i found this oil of olay facial lotion. i use it for my whole face.... especially under my eyes. i feel like my facial skin overall looks better and the lotion is not too greasy.





also, i have sensitive, oily facial skin and found the one for sensitive skin to be ok.





i think the trick to your skin is to always have it hydrated. that is why lotions that offer to ';hydrate'; your skin always work better.





and also, try drinking more water.... but not right before bed. if you drink water before bed...you will wake up with swollen eyes!!!

Neutrogena makes an eye cream with SPF30 in it...it's a little tinted, but you can hardly notice it. It works really well!

Would anti-wrinkle eye cream help my young skin?

I have excema around my eyes and it itches my skin. I get lines around my eyes and I've tried the creams my doctor has prescribed me, but they don't help much. Eczema is not due to dry skin although the skin cells that slough off are dry or the patchy areas are dry.


Its actually over reproduction of skin cells and there are many types of eczema, so I would stay with the treatment your doctor gave you. It will get better in time, but probably never go away.


Decrease scratching,cleanse the skin with water, no soap, its too irritating, and apply the prescription cream.Would anti-wrinkle eye cream help my young skin?

I used to have eczema and it drove me mad and like you said the doctors creams did seem to work [luckily mines gone now]. The anti-wrinkle cream will be fine to use as long as you moisturize around your eyes at night so that the cream doesn't dry your skin out even more.


I have used eye creams before and have only had problems with particular brands, as most people do, and I find that Clarins is always the best. They are specialists and do special anti-wrinkle eye creams and I'd recommend them.

Just a simple hydrating eye cream will do that. If you are over 30-35, you might want an anti-aging or firming eye cream, which will do all that ^^ and more.

If you are looking for home remedy to reduce wrinkles, try this.


Smear honey on your face and leave it for as long as possible (but 5-10mins a day will do). then rinse off with tepid water mixed with a teaspoon of cider vinegar - this has a neutral pH and will act as a toner.

Avon has really awesome face and eye creams that are relatively inexpensive. They have a new one that just came out that targets fine lines and puffiness at the same time...I think its like $30 US. Regardless of what you use always remember to wear sunscreen and to take care of how you put the cream on around the eye area. Since it is a very sensitive area, put cream on with your ring finger, it will be gentler than using any other finger so it won't irritate your eyes as much.
