What's the difference between cream eye shadow and dry?

my mom got me makeup for christmas. i have both dry and cream eyeshadow for who knows a lot about beauty and makeup. whats the difference between dry and cream eye shadow? like, does cream stay on longer? What's the difference between cream eye shadow and dry?
In my experience, cream doesn't last as long and creases more easily. If you don't have an eye primer, you can use the cream colors as a base for the powders to make them last longer.

It can really vary between brands though. Sometimes they are very pigmented (meaning more vibrant, long lasting, etc) and sometimes there's very little pigment. What's the difference between cream eye shadow and dry?
I prefer dry..The cream shadow can be sticky on your eyes. You can make dry look like cream (except not sticky) by wetting the brush. It can make it look really cool. I think dry stays on longer in my experience.
a dry eyeshadow is the one that you can apply with by using the brush that should come with it. and... it's just a dry one.

the cream is an eyeshadow cream basically, that is basically a cream and it's not... dry. sometimes it comes in the lip gloss tube with the stick.

*it's hard to x-plain.

good luck!!

Dry eyeshadow is good for daytime and provides lighter/simpler touch. Creame eye shadow last longer and good for evening or more for glamoure look.
Dry eyeshadow is just a compressed or loose powder that you can sweep on with your finger or a brush or sponge applicator. Cream eyeshadow needs to be applied after you've patted on some transluscent powder onto your eyelids/brow so it won't shift during the day. Some of them stay in place, others end up in your eyelid crease and disappear.
dry u apply with brush and Cream gives u a nice blend and u can use it wth ur hand ((fingers)) and also like if u want to go sumwhere fast cream is faster and it gives u lots of sheding and beauty I LOVE CREAM EYESHADOWWW!!
