I'm 21 and prematurely aging! I dont smoke or anything, I eat well, exercise, and drink lots of water. I have fine lines/ wrinkles on my lower lids and outer corners. This has happened all within a year, I really need some help. Please suggest some products that you have personally used or have had close friends use. I'm thinking of using the murad eye treatment complex, but I have sensitive skin and I'm afraid it will be too harsh.Has anyone tried the Murad Eye Treatment Complex, or another good eye cream for fine lines/wrinkles?

Eye creams DEFINITELY help! Give it a try. You might not find a good one on your first try but it helps as does plenty of sleeping and and refreshing water! They both go hand in hand. You can't look healthy unless you are and eye creams just give you a little boost :)

Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

I like Chanel Rectifiance eye cream. It has an awesome, but subtle scent and is very rich. I apply it before going to bed, after cleansing. Keep in mind that althought I'm 40, I still have issues with adult acne, and this doesn't cause any breakouts in that area. I also have NO WRINKLES. I've been using an eye cream since about your age, and people laughed at the time, but aren't laughing now!
The Chanel costs about $75, BUT, the pot lasts a long time (you need so little) and it is a quality product. Yes, you can run out and buy a $12.99 drugstore something-or-other, but this is your eye area we're talking about here. Prevention is worth the $75. If you absolutely cannot afford Chanel, the next best one is Oil of Olay Total Effects Eye Transforming Cream. But check out Ebay for the Chanel!I am 24. Used avon eye cream now this morning under my eyes are puffy looking?
I applied the avon hydrofirming eye cream under my area and I did notice my eyes start to burn . I did not remove the cream but before I used the cream I had just used a eye mask and let it stay on for about 30 minutes then washed off then about 3 hours later I put on the eye cream. Anything that burns the sensitive eye area should really be avoided.

Just lay off of putting anything in or around your eyes and see if the puffyness is gone tomorrow, mine is always gone by the next day.

garnier have some good eye creams. but nivea has one ice fade away cream or something likke that which is ovely. try garniers newest innovation-garnier nutritionist caffiene eye roll-on. the caffiene reduces the appearance of dark circles and bags whilst the nifty massage applicator smoothes away puffiness. it is 拢10 in the uk.

I don't know that the caffeine thing is, but it sounds like you can use both. That is, unless your skin becomes irritated. If that happens I would stop using the caffeine treatment.

They are pretty expensive but I heard they last absolutely ages, you need less than a grain of rice per eye. The best thing to do would be to look on ebay or somewhere similar as they sell the same products for less money (usually they are sold from reps who get their products free or because the box is damaged etc.
Another idea is just go along to the beauty counters and ask for samples, they usually don't mind letting you try the miniatures especially if they think you may return and buy the product later.
Also Avon Anew products are meant to work well, there's one called Anew Clinical eye lift which comes in two parts (for upper and lower lids) but I heard one usually runs out before the other! :) This is reduced from 拢15 to 拢10 at the moment. Aveda has a great product called aveda tourmaline charged eye cream. it cost about 30 dollars for .5 oz so it depends on what you think expensive is. but you also have to remember you get what you pay for so it may be worth the extra money. its great for all ages but as an esthitician i recommend it for my clients with mature skin. it has tourmaline which is a natural mineral that reflects light. it also has natural anti oxidants and lycopene which are awesome for your skin. i included a link check it out!

Personally, I've tried Anew from Avon (the original cream) and it made my skin look and feel like a baby's butt the first time I ever used it. I think it's an overnight cream. It smells like glue but you will definately be happy when you wake up the next morning. I'm 28 btw.

I have under eye dark circles and I've been using this eye cream and it works well. Sometimes my eyes feel tired so I bought an eye mask gel which should help my eyes cool down. However which one do I put first? Eye cream or the eye gel mask? Which one to put first, eye cream or eye mask?

Im not very sure but, based on my facial experience, it should be put on eye mask first then your eye cream/serum. Just like we put on moisturizer and toner after face mask when we do facial.
Just make sure your eye area is clean with no eye gel mask left onto it before apply your eye cream in case they will cause oil spots together? As eye cream is quite rich already..

Actually, I would suggest cucumbers because they are cooling to help bring down the puffiness of the circles, and something in them helps to make the circles less noticeable, if not all the way gone, but if you must have a cream i suggest getting something Burt's bees, because they have all natural healthy for the skin products. Wash your face in the morning and in the night, and during the night put on cucumber slices, and then use Burt's bees royal jelly cream, its the best thing out there, and its really calming, also try getting a better sleeping time, maybe go to bed earlier, tkae an advil pm, and then use an eye mask to cut out light, which is the main cause in preventing sleep.

Also, using sunscreen will help reduce the effect of wrinkles on the face and the rest of your body.

Nivea has great eye creams and anti aging products. Nivea has been around for a long time and is non-irritating. A classic.
It can be found at any drugstore, like CVS.
Face lotion with a SPF of 30 or better daily and a hat when outdoors for a length of time.
The sun is not to be worshipped, so avoid and stay looking youthful....forever young.
I am 26 and I use all kind of cream, but I begin to have wrinkles under my eyes, small and thin, but still... At 26, I have a nice looking skin, but I don't want any wrinkles on that pretty face ;)

You're right, many times sleeping 8 hours and drinking water doesn't do the trick. You'll see visible results within less than a month if you apply extra virgin olive oil to them every night. You may have it in your pantry already.

You dab a pea sized amount under each eye before you sleep and it takes about 7-10 days to begin working, but the day it starts you will notice a 100% difference!
Hylexin is the product of choice among celebs and it works wonders, although I think it's for people with seriously dark undereye circles, it's pretty expensive but it works.
I would focus on what you eat and drink first because that is where you will see the best results for skin problems. I would up your vegi's and fruits. Really make sure you eat the dark green vegi's because they are where you will get tons of vitamin K and that is very important in reducing this problem. Try drinking nothing but water and green tea for a while and then reward yourself with something different once in a while. Get a really good vitamin supplement and maybe take some extra calcium. You see a change if you change your diet, not that you have a bad diet but sometimes we need a little change. It has worked for me, My circles are gone and so are my wrinkles. Drink tons of water everyday. Carry a water bottle with you all day long to ensure you do it. There is a great book called The prescription for nutritional healing and it has some great solutions for everything you could need.

100% rose hip oil doubles as both in my beauty routine. it is very effective in getting off even the most stubborn mascara and is a rich source of vitamins.
Tip - wipe of excess makeup and oil before finsishing with a drop and not much more, massage gently using the finger next to your pinky just inside the eye socket bone. you don't need to do your lid as when you open your eyes the residue under the brow will transfer and you are less likely to get it in your eyes.
p.s. Stay away from antiaging, and stick to hydrating if you are going for a commerially made eye cream.I need to know if I should begin using eye cream and which one?

I like Chanel Rectifiance eye cream. It has an awesome, but subtle scent and is very rich. I apply it before going to bed, after cleansing. Keep in mind that althought I'm 40, I still have issues with adult acne, and this doesn't cause any breakouts in that area. I also have NO WRINKLES. I've been using an eye cream since about your age, and people laughed at the time, but aren't laughing now!
The Chanel costs about $75, BUT, the pot lasts a long time (you need so little) and it is a quality product. Yes, you can run out and buy a $12.99 drugstore something-or-other, but this is your eye area we're talking about here. Prevention is worth the $75. If you absolutely cannot afford Chanel, the next best one is Oil of Olay Total Effects Eye Transforming Cream. But check out Ebay for the Chanel!I am 24. Used avon eye cream now this morning under my eyes are puffy looking?
I applied the avon hydrofirming eye cream under my area and I did notice my eyes start to burn . I did not remove the cream but before I used the cream I had just used a eye mask and let it stay on for about 30 minutes then washed off then about 3 hours later I put on the eye cream. It will go away don't worry, the skin under your eyes is VERY thin and cannot take too much tampering with in one go, next time you do a mask wait a few hrs before applying the cream, It may be that you had a slight reaction to one of the ingredients, keep your eye creams and treatments as simple as possible. I don't know that the caffeine thing is, but it sounds like you can use both. That is, unless your skin becomes irritated. If that happens I would stop using the caffeine treatment.

Depending on what you're looking for I've found the new Dove line of skin care is great. Very inexpensive and works as well as the more expensive brands. If you have a particular issue like crow's feet or wrinkles, you might want to try L'Oreal. Yes, the gel is made with Elderflower for puffiness. If that's what you'd like to correct then that's a nice product. It's not quite a moisturizer though. You may want to try their Vitamin E line. Vitamine E repairs skin cells quite quickly.

Does anyone know where I can report getting skin cancer from using Cheryl Tiegs under the eye cream?
I have perfectly clear skin, but one night I put some Cheryl Tiegs under the eye cream on to keep that area smooth. I put it on thick, and the next morning I had skin cancer right where I put the cream on. I am wondering if anyone else has this problem and where I can report this. The best cure for puffy eyes is the simplest, yet somehow the hardest to achieve: Get more sleep.
In addition to a cream make sure that you're properly hydrated. When you are those wrinkles aren't as deep and the sleep lines either don't happen or they fade quickly.

Have any of you successfully declined the newborn antibiotic eye cream/drops? Did they give you a hard time?
I did delay it for the initial bonding period, since it obscures their vision, and I had read/heard that this it is important for their development to get a good close-up view of their parents immediately after being born. I wish I had declined it altogether, but I hadn't done enough research to know. However, I know they wouldn't have given me a hard time about it, because I walked into the nursery with my husband and my baby and stood right over her while they did what they needed to do. I did not allow them to bathe her, because they would have required almost 2 hours under the warming lamps to stabilize her temperature, and I didn't want us to be separated for that long. Crazy!! Anyway, so the nurse just asked us what we did and didn't want done, so it wouldn't have been a problem if we had said no. I was never 'offered' any, it was done as part of their normal procedure.
However, IF I had been given the 'option' I would not have declined.
I think the antibiotic cream/drops are a benefit.
My husband just got back surgery and he was given antibiotic cream/drops before the procedure to reduce infection, and he's a grown man. If it will benefit my baby, I have no problem with it.
The drops are given to prevent ANY infection/bacteria from getting into the eyes. It's also done before a major surgery in adults.
I also believe in vaccinations.
If YOU choose not to get the cream/drops, I don't think the Doctor will have a problem with it.

No even with my homebirth transfer with no records going with me (long story) they didn't hassle me and where I live you technically can't decline the eye drops, the doctor is supposed to report you to public health and the can (in theory) take the baby away and do it.
PS Even if you had one of the STDs that can cause severe eye infections leading to blindness there is no way on earth you could miss the signs of infection.

There is a HORRIBLE picture of a baby with the disease -- eyes --really the entire upper face -- swollen and distorted, red, oozing yellow pus. Believe me, it looks nothing like any conjunctivitis I have ever seen. I can't imagine anyone not noticing it, or ignoring it.

I frequently send up a prayer of thanks for the discovery of antibiotics.
I was never 'offered' any, it was done as part of their normal procedure.
However, IF I had been given the 'option' I would not have declined.
I think the antibiotic cream/drops are a benefit.
My husband just got back surgery and he was given antibiotic cream/drops before the procedure to reduce infection, and he's a grown man. If it will benefit my baby, I have no problem with it.
The drops are given to prevent ANY infection/bacteria from getting into the eyes. It's also done before a major surgery in adults.
I also believe in vaccinations.
If YOU choose not to get the cream/drops, I don't think the Doctor will have a problem with it.

Ya know, I intended to when my baby was born but I completely forgot, I was still riding that natural childbirth high!! But we have refused all vaccines and have not had any hassle from his doctor.
It is law in some states that your baby has these drops...why wouldn't you give these to your babies...without it they could go blind...seriously I am a nurse and have studied this

No. Why wouldn't you want to get it? It's a precautionary measure.
No even with my homebirth transfer with no records going with me (long story) they didn't hassle me and where I live you technically can't decline the eye drops, the doctor is supposed to report you to public health and the can (in theory) take the baby away and do it.
PS Even if you had one of the STDs that can cause severe eye infections leading to blindness there is no way on earth you could miss the signs of infection.

[gonorrhea] quickly sets up a violent inflammation of the conjunctiva. at first the lids grow red , then there is a thin, irritating discharge, with yellowish flakes. After a few hours this becomes purulent and th lids become so swollen that the eyes are closed. Unless active and constant treatment is instituted, the inflammation gains headway, the cornea may ulcerate, leaving ugly scars which shut out the light, or the lens may escape and the whole eye be destroyed. A large part of the blindness in the world is caused by this dreadful affliction, and it is primarily venereal in origin. pg 496-497
There is a HORRIBLE picture of a baby with the disease -- eyes --really the entire upper face -- swollen and distorted, red, oozing yellow pus. Believe me, it looks nothing like any conjunctivitis I have ever seen. I can't imagine anyone not noticing it, or ignoring it.
