I'm 29 and I've been using it since I was 25 off and on--don't let anyone fool you, you start showing signs of aging long before 30! You should definitely be using moisturizer WITH an SPF of at least 15 everyday. And make sure you drink lots of H2O to help keep your skin looking young and fresh.
I use Olay daily moisturizer and eye gel for those ';fine'; lines under my eyes. I once read an article (which I can't find) that said Olay was the best product out there and don't waste $$ on expensive things that will give the same results. What age should you start wearing eye cream?
start using it now, i promise you its worth it to beat the wrinkles, get ahead of them. i started using it once a day in my teens and twenties and then when the big 30 hit i started it twice a day and i dont know if its improved things but lets just say younger people look ';tireder'; than me!! now go get some girl.
I am 42 and never will.I limit my sun exposure and never have smoked--not a wrinkle yet!
makeupp....its truly a waste of timee....unless you really need itt. i dont use it....i hatee makeup...i tried a few timmess....it makes ur face feelll......unhealthy? i dont know the wwordd....it just feels all gross...i go natural except for some facee cream...and lipgloss....of coursee...lol.
I started in my early twenties after looking at pictures of my mother and grandmother. I know I wil age like them and I don't want to have the undereye wrinkles that they have. If you are still a teenager, you could just use a gentle face cream or lotion on your undereye area. Right now, I am using my night cream instead of a eye cream, because it's very moisturizing and I don't have the money to buy a separate eye cream right now. If you start using an eye cream before you have any wrinkles or other age issues, you probably don't need to buy a separate eye cream especially a firming one. Just keep the area moisturized and use a spf on it every morning and you should be able to prevent any damage.
You should invest in a decent eye cream.Since the skin in the eye region is very fragile, it is better to get an eye cream to help moisturise it since a properly moisturised skin is a skin free of wrinkles.
shouldn't worry too much about anti-ageing one but do invest in cream that has good SPF protection to avoid the wrinkle to happen in the first place.
In your 30's when you start to get wrinkled
A lot of people say prevention is better than cure. I'm 20 and I use vitamin e eye cream from the body shop-its not like a heavy anti-wrinkle cream or anything, just like a moisturizing cream for your eyes, and vitamin e is good for your skin anyway. I've heard that half the secret of not gettin wrinkles is not letting the skin dry out. Hope that helps! x
i think your never to young if you mostion your skin from an early age and continue then its go to be beneficial to you as you get older so long as you keep doing it
I would think eye cream wouldn't be needed until one hits 40, but some people's skin becomes wrinkly earlier I think. When it comes to make-up, I almost never wear any, because its almost like I'm trying to hide the real me with physical materials. So make-up isn't bad, but it may not be good either in some cases.
If you want to look after your skin you need to learn which product and when.........
I would say always wash off make up, using a cleanser and toner then a moisturiser with UVA/UVB protection.
Don't forget lipsalves with the same protection.
Make sure the products are aimed at your age group, skin type, etc.
18yrs
when you start getting wrinkles
25 years no sooner or it can be bad for the skin and have adverse effects. You need to use it BEFORE wrinkles appear to prevent.
I am a qualified beauty therapist so whatever the other answers are i know for a fact it is 25.
any age you want to.
there're different types of eye creams for different purposes, such as to prevent wrinkles or to reduce puffiness, fine lines or dark circles. if you think you need eye cream for any of the purposes, then go ahead and use it :]
Really as soon as you start wearing make up or in your teens. Your skin is pretty resilient til then. There are tons of cream to just moisturise you eyes (and skin) and if youre in a place with central heating, or outside with the wind and rain, it wont hurt to put something on them. Central heating and extremes of hot and cold damage your skin a lot. But you dont need to get dead expensive stuff.
I think the earlier the better, it is never too early to start taking care of your skin. I started wearing under eye cream when I was around 12. I also now wear spf 15 under my eyes.
BTW when I say eye cream I'm not referring to the de wrinkle stuff, I'm taking about the kind that helps with puffiness caused by crying, up late studying, genetics, allergies etc.etc. and moisturizing, and spf so you will never have to even begin worrying about dark circles.
your skin starts to change in your late 20's, and if you sunbathe, drink alot etc it will be even more noticable, go for a dermalogical face mapping facial and get advice from them.
Beauty experts recommend you use anti ageing creams as young as possible! Deffo not a waste of time. I'd start using one now! In fact, I do! And I'm not even in my 20s or anything yet :)
id probably say mid 30's before stuff even can begin going down
